The lighter side -
A look at how this con man works
Charles and email etiquette (30,000 mile bravery)
I read one long list of email exchanges that
started out with a simple request that Charles produce the work he had
been paid for and Chucky’s responses went from:
“sure, no problem. I’ll deliver all on time”
to
“An act of God happened and I’ll be a little late”
to
“I’m sick/My phone broke/the bank exploded/my PC melted down/The rats
ate my hard drive”
to
“Stop pushing me. It’s your fault I’m late”
to
“I know I’m 2 months late, I delivered nothing and I’ve been paid 90%
but it’s all your fault”
to
“You need to pay 100% before I will send you anything”
to
“I’m keeping all the work to sell or use myself with no refund”
to
“I’m still keeping all the work and you own me $500,000”
to
“You evil SOB. I will ruin you. I’ll sue you and take your house, car,
company and your dog’s sexual favors”
to
“Let’s just forget the whole thing and be friends”
to
“What do you mean you want me to supply what you paid for? That’s
OUTRAGEOUS. I’ll have you killed!! You’ll never work again. I’ll destroy
you. You don’t know how omnipotent I am. I rule the WORLD !! And I’m
still going to bugger your cat”
to
Charles posts the most vile packs of lies on the web under fake names.
You know you’re doing business with Chucky when:
When he is supposed to be sending you money, stock certificates, the work he’s been paid to do or anything else of value, you will have to endure these type of excuses. This is for all the people who have worked with him in the past.
(Flashback time !!!)
Starting on Wednesday, the 1st of the month, after many delays
Step 1: My secretary messed up the routing number on the wire transfer. She’ll send on Friday when she gets back from holiday.
Step 2: The bank closed early. Monday is a holiday so we can send Tuesday.
Step 3: On Tuesday there is no word from Charles, his phone is off and he won’t answer emails. Other employees claim he is not there.
Step 4: Wednesday you get an email that only says “it was sent”. You assume it’s the money but you’re not so sure.
Step 5: Friday, No money, not record of it. Charles says he will put a trace on it at his bank when it opens Monday.
Step 6: Wednesday, you call Charles and he claims the trace shows it’s stuck at the NY clearing house and will clear by Friday.
Step 7: Monday evening USA time, Tuesday morning Asia time. You call Charles and he’s out sick. He’ll get back to you tomorrow.
Step 8: Wednesday. You’re pissed he never called so you call him. He’s on a plane to close a multi-million dollar deal. Call on Monday
Step 9: Monday. He’s still on the trip and VERY busy wrapping up the deal that has grown to $3 million. Do Not Disturb
Step 10: Tuesday, you push and finally get him on his mobile. He’s furious that you are endangering a $3 million deal with a phone call
Step 11: Thursday you email him demanding immediate payment or you will take legal action.
Step 12: Friday you get an irate email reply telling you to grow up and understand REAL business. He will send the money today.
Step 13: You get no confirmation of the transfer so you call AGAIN on Monday and hear that your money got tied up in the “big deal” but he will send the cash first thing Tuesday but only if you back off and stop being an asshole that causes nothing but trouble.
Step 14: Thursday you have heard nothing. You call and are told that all your bitching, moaning and interference has cause irreparable damage to the “big deal” and you will get your money when Charles can go it to you. Now FUCK
OFF !!!
Step 15: Friday, you contact your lawyer and tell him to take action. He writes a letter describing the situation and seeking payment.
Step 16: Tuesday, Charles finally calls you and accuses you of destroying the “big deal” and calls you a stupid, childish, poopie-head
Step 17: After several letter from your lawyer, Charles says he will pay you 30% of what you are owed but you need to turn over ALL the work he hired you to do and sign a binding agreement to never say anything about the deal before he will send the money.
Step 18: Friday, You are so sick and tired of all this BS that you break down and take the deal to recoup some of your losses.
Step 19: Wednesday, Charles has your work and your signed agreement. He then reverts to step 1 and we go through it all over again.
It’s been 2 months of hell, Charles has all your work for free, you are not allowed to speak of about the deal to anyone, you owe your lawyer $3000 and Charles hasn’t paid you a single dollar. You start dreaming of hit men but after another 10 weeks of fighting for your cash, Charles has offered to pay you in DinglePharb stock. Further lawyer threats forces him to pay you 1/2 what you are owed.

A candid picture of Chucky fondly remembering his big buff cellmate during his years in prison.
Good times, eh chucky?
Don’t worry. Everyone is working very hard to see that you two are together and to make you both very happy once again.
